A Customer who becomes your Friend is one of the most satisfying outcomes in business.

It all started typically - that person contacted me on LinkedIn asking for assistance in designing and building an IoT-powered product.
We met, discussed the business idea, found a common ground, and agreed to start in a month.
Time has passed, and I haven’t heard from that person.
Ok, I thought, yet another lead that went south.
I decided to give it one last try and sent an email asking for confirmation that the initial agreement was no longer valid.
To my surprise, I received a response explaining the delay and offering to kick off in the coming weeks.
Sure, I thought, let’s give it a shot.
This time it worked out and we started our collaboration as agreed.
That happened several months ago. Started as a typical short-time engagement and evolved into building something really impressive.
Nowadays, I have to remind myself to issue invoices - I do not treat this as a contract-based business relationship but as a fulfilling collaboration.
We haven’t signed any NDA; we built mutual trust on honesty, transparency, and respect.

That is one of the most satisfying outcomes of operating as an independent advisor.
